Are you From India and are Checking out porn on Bing, Yahoo or Flickr?? Well, here’s some bad news for you. After Microsoft introduced certain filters in Bing, Yahoo and Flickr are following suit to filter out sexual content for online Indian viewers, reports Guardian.

Yahoo and its photo sharing site, Flickr offer the option to its users to switch off the safe search facility. Recently the company has decided to make changes to the site in order to prevent the Indian users from turning off the feature. This has been done in accordance to the changes to India’s Information Technology Act of 2000, banning the publication of pornographic material.

The block is reportedly active for users in Singapore, Hong Kong and Korea and according to report, confined to only image search in Yahoo at the moment, unlike Bing, which displays warning message while the user from India tries to search sexual content.
