@Kingshuk...however I feel iPad is definitely not a response to the Kindle, it is targeted towards consumers who are willing to buy a notebook. Apple is trying to give those consumers a whole new experience. Further it will also appeal to casual gamers with its multi-touch and efficient processor, though battery life might be a constraint. All in all Apple is trying to expand its gadget portfolio to encompass all segments, the only missing link being a pure gaming console.</description>

		<description>well gr8 post but i dont think that with iPad apple was targetting a netbook consumer as apart from the connectivity of iPad rest all othe features are way different than that of a netbook. personally even i think that netbooks arent good for anything but yeah they mean a lot to people who like moving around and have to use functions like spreadsheets, presentations etc. with a good battery life. on the other hand the market of iPad will mostly consist of rich sons and gadget freaks....
i had thought that iPad was developed and launched as a counterattack to Amazon&#039;s Kindle.... but at a price almost twice that of a kindle it will be a hard task....</description>
