Bored or fed up of Facebook’s overly crowded and confusing UI? Well Microsoft’s been cooking something in their Silverlight labs.
Using the power of Facebook Connect and rich UI rendering of Silverlight technology, Microsoft has come up with, a Facebook client for Mac as well as Windows.
Check out following screenshots to get a feel how it looks like:
1. Login page using FBConnect to get the access:
2. Presents the various menu options in a very intuitive and uncluttered manner, also gives the photo feed in right hand side column:
3. Checking out pics and albums is amazing:
The software is still in Beta, but worth trying. Follow the following link, to check it out, and make sure to tell us about your experience in comments:

There are a few drOOls to take away from this:
1. The UI elements look very very similar to Zune UI, and thus, we might be looking a potential zune app for Facebook in this.
2. A corollary to above statement could be, Microsoft would open doors for Silverlight based mobile apps.
3. Its a multiplatform client, thus, Microsoft Silverlight could pose a good competition for Adobe Air.
