The intense browser war between IE, Chrome, Firefox, etc is going to get intense with the launch of yet another browser: Epic. But this time, it comes from India. And believe us, its not just another browser.
If your system is cramped with viruses, it has an antivirus that scans through your system, to free it of any malwares running. If you want to browse “My Computer” and do not wish to go to the desktop and double click the computer icon, Epic provides it within your browser space. You name it and Epic has it all. Games, built in Yahoo, Gmail, Orkut, Facebook and Twitter side bars, a timer to take care of the time, a to-do manager, a video viewer, a snippet generator, over 1500 Indian skins for the browser, and round the clock top stories from India. Phew, and that’s not all. It has a built in word processor to take notes on. In fact, this review has been typed on that word processor only. A “Maps” feature which looks similar to Google Maps, a travel helper which gives the best deals from Yatra, and Cleartrip, a link to track the job market backup facility for the machine, and the regular add on and applications similar to chrome and firefox. At first we thought this is a completely new player, but when we clicked on the add-ons, a firefox add on page opened, giving the hint that the browser is built on the Mozilla source code.
Go ahead, try this out, a brand new INDIAN Experience. The setup can be downloaded @ http://http.cdnlayer.com/href/epic-setup.exe
